This is primarily an Indian grocery store with an exceptional variety of items and brands in store. A two minute walk away they have a vegetable mart which sells only fruits and veggies along with some pots and pans. Indian mixies and grinders are there too. Overall it's a great place to shop. It can be packed to the rafters and a bit claustrophobic at times. The frozen food section is amazing. The ice creams from India are a joy. If you are an Indian, be prepared to loose some money 'cause you'll end up buying more than you planned. Prices are pretty much the same as anywhere else.

I want to give it a 0 rating. But there is no such option available. Whole purchase experience is a nightmare with these guys. 1) There was no otp generated during payment, no confirmation that order was placed(neither any message nor email). But the order was placed. 2) They easily swap products without checking. Saying an ordered item is out of stock. I ordered 3 packs of pitted dates and to their convenience they delivered normal ones and that too a different brand. 3) They never refund money to your bank account for undelivered items. Instead refund in the form of wallet money. Forcing customers to make another purchase. 4) Customer care lady who monitors 84555122 doesn't even know how to address the basic customer concerns. Finally, I advise you to stay away from these people for peace of mind.

Sir/madam, order#77924. Ordered for SGD 70.8 Including Pillsbury multigrains Atta 5KG. But in delivery, it is not there mentioning as no stock and the amount is added to wallet. You can please deduct the amount from wallet once stock is available and deliver to the address. Otherwise people will think that Sri Murugan trading is involved in forgery. 1. As they show unavailable products. This is first step in forgery as stock availability and inventory management is your business and these sort of gimmicks are to force customers to pay more. 2.Don't deliver them. 3.Add money to wallet. 4. Force customers to either order again for minimum order amount for free delivery or charge the customer for delivering this one item. Hope SMT will not involve in such forgery and will deliver the 5KG atta to my door step after stock is available.

Very worst shop I never seen. Only the price of tomoto and onion are less here to attract customers and other veg it's very high. To find out this I bought veg at other indian grocery shop with same quantity what I will buy usually buy at Murugan. The price was just only half of it what I usually pay at Murugan. For grated coconut they always want us to request at all times.whenever we go either morning , afternoon or evening they will not do. If they have manpower concerns ,it's either issue and shouldn't make customers always to request. They need to earn profit from customer but never satisfy customer need or respect customers especially the person's in billing counter always speak very harshly and it's like we are getting something from them at free of cost. Only the price is displayed in bill and not the item name which is more inconvenient for reference. Staffs are very worst , not treating customer properly. Prices are expensive and no standard bill. Overall very worst.

If anyone wants to go eco friendly, but always find veggies and fruits in giant/ntuc/sheng doing in plastic, this is one place where you can take your own bags and fill the produce. Everything looks fresh, and runs out quickly. Not sure about pricing comparisons since I've never really traced that. Good place to buy Indian groceries in their Mart, but that unfortunately comes packed in plastic.
